Truth is, I’ve been playing this track on the radio for a few weeks now and I’ve been hanging on for a video so I could make this a ‘Nessy Recommends’ on the blog. ‘Human’ is just a beautiful song.
Kitt Philippa is a singer songwriter from Northern Ireland and is currently based in Belfast. Kitt’s first musical recordings were released in 2013 but since then they’ve been honing their craft, earning a music degree from Queen’s University. As well as performing with The Ulster Orchestra, KP’s music has featured across the BBC.
‘Human’ is taken from a recent mobile recording sessions which took place in KP’s local Parish Church. Budget wise, it may have been a means to an end at the time, but the final result is actually heavenly! The luscious layers and reverb will just sweep you away with pure vocals which show the vulnerability of being human.
Total perfection.
