Conversation with Dan from Yard
Yard are a fantastic band with a hell of a punch, they’re about to go on an autumn tour. Find out more about the band on their Instagram.
You can also find the band on Spotify and get their early stuff on Bandcamp.
Conversation with Fiach Moriarty
Fiach Moriarty is a fantastic songwriter and storyteller and I was delighted to chat about his new album, ‘Liberties’, a concept album about what Dublin and life would have been like for his great uncle who fought in the Great War.
You can get all the details from Fiach’s website, he’s doing a few gigs in Ireland soon and he’s also playing The British Library here in London as part of the Irish Writers Weekend.

Listen On-Demand to The London Ear
You can find all previous episodes on the pages of this site here. I’ve been bad at keeping the blog up – I will rectify that so all shows and playlists are online.
My entire archive is online on Mixcloud, I’m still not sure how long The London Ear will be in existence on RTE 2XM. Whatever happens to RTE 2XM, you will be able to listen to all episodes here.
