The Irish music scene is saddened and stunned by the death of Gary Moore today.
I first remember hearing ‘Out in the Fields’ in 1985 when the local folk group, of which I was a member, went off for a day trip. This became our anthem for the day. I was 12. It was only after that I became aware of the unbelievable guitar ability of Gary Moore and that he was in Thin Lizzy.
