The London Ear 299 // With Mick Cronin, from the band, Cronin
Hello from the land where, if you’re looking the news / telly, you’d almost believe that that pandemic was over and no longer a threat. But hey, that’s for another blog post.
On today’s episode of The London Ear, I catch up with Mick Cronin, from the band Cronin. They released a new mini album ‘A view from the next room’. We chat about the release, adjusting to the changing world as a musician and a recording studio owner. We also chat about Mick’s Irish identity, having lived between Drumlish, in Longford, and Leeds, what it meant to be Irish at school in Leeds and how Boyzone helped the lads with the ladies.
We also get a ‘hello’ from Mick’s daughter, Tara. From the sounds of things, she’ll be on the show with her own band in no time!
You can find out more about the band on their website, Facebook, Twitter and Insta.
This week’s #FromTheVault track comes from Me In The Park, a fantastic band from Dublin.I love ‘2nd Opinion’ which I played on the show.
Next week I’ll be chatting to Maddox Jones.
