Hello! Another week, another episode of The London Ear. Fun fact for you. The very first episode of The London Ear took place on September 18 2013. All of six years ago! Crazy!

I’ve got two return visitors for you today!

Chat with Matt, Strange Fish Theatre

I first spoke to Matt from the Strange Fish Theatre Companylast October. It seems that every November the group gear up for a new production. It’s great that they are busy and they are putting new productions on every year but these things cost money!

They are planning to put on a production of The Match Box by Frank McGuinness in the Omnibus Theatre in Clapham but are in the process of raising funds to get everything off to a start.

So, they’re throwing an End of Summer Hooley at the London Irish Centre on Saturday 21 September. Do go if you can and support this Irish theatre company in London.

You can find out more about Strange Fish on their website.

Chat with Amanda St John

It was lovely to catch up with Amanda St John again, who was a previous guest on the programme. Amanda is in the process of releasing a new album ‘The Muscle Shoal Sessions’ and came on to tell me all about recording the album in the legendary environment of Alabama.

We also spoke of the life pressures that come with taking on such a huge project as this.

Amanda is going on tour, if you can pop along, do! She has an incredible voice.

Find out more about Amanda on her website and on Facebook.
