First home win at Hayes Lane in Bromley for London City, thanks to an absolute worldie from Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah and Sofia Jakobsson scores on her debut. London City were great in the first half but Bristol clawed their way back into the game in the second half with their efforts rewarded with a goal from Amalie Thestrup. London City hung on for the win and go to third on the Women's Championship table.

Chaney scores a worldie - Sofia scores on debut: London City Lionesses 2-1 Bristol City

August 11 2024. My first trip to Selhurst Park. Crystal Palace took on French side FC Nantes in a preseason friendly. Nice little stadium, sitting in the shade when it was 28 degrees. Lovely afternoon to be quite honest.

Not only was there the 90 minute game but we were treated to an extra bonus 30 minute 'training game'.

August 18 2024, Opening Day of the Football Season and Fulham Women take on Barking in Craven Cottage in the London and South East Women's Regional Football League.

Fulham were just superb and a pleasure to watch.

Fulham Women 6 - 0 Barking // London and South East Women's Regional Football League

April 28th 2024. Last day of the regular football season and what we didn't know then, the last day of London City Lionesses playing football at Prince's Park in Dartford.

The day could only go one way, starting off with a pitch inspection and a seriously soggy pitch. Being the last day of the season, we knew at least one player was leaving the ranks. But we didn't know what would later be announced for the team.

The end-of-season party was matched by LCL playing some lovely football and coming out 3-2 winners over a great Lewes team, who had lost their relegation battle.

For me, this was the end of my first full season taking going to games seriously and making videos. At the start of the season, I went to check out London City out of curiosity. What I didn't know was that it was the start of me becoming a part of a fantastic community.

There are two things I cry at, vet programmes on the telly and football. I have to say, I was overwhelmed with emotion with Mr LCL Admin, gave me a home shirt signed by the team.

I remember saying that in the vlog before the Liverpool game, I've always been a Liverpool supporter, but like GAA in Ireland, the football team you support is often one you've been born into. To find a club when you feel something magical in the air is priceless. I'm privileged to see that happen with London City.

Thank you for an unforgettable season, to the players, the staff, Remi Allen for taking the team from the brink and to Michele Kang for turning up on a Tuesday night in February to see a Conti Cup Quarter Final. That alone was enough for supporters to put their faith in you.

I can't wait for the 24/25 season to start, see you in Hayes Lane!
