This summer I will be presenting shows with RTÉ f

This summer I will be presenting shows with RTÉ for ten years, with #TheLondonEar and Culture Café before I moved to London. Crazy!

I've been very fortunate to have a platform to share new music, especially Irish music, arts and culture.

From the end of March, 2XM will no longer be broadcasting on the DAB platform. However, this does not mean the end for 2XM or for any of RTÉ's digital channels. We're staying online.

That means, I will still have a platform to bring you the best radio I can every week from London. I look forward to being able to share music arts and culture and stories from the Irish community outside Ireland.

Tune in every Saturday at 1pm, GMT.

First post of 2021. I haven't posted on the Insta grid for a long time. I thought this was as good as any to get back into it.

373 days after I first ran away from people, I got my first dose of my #astrazeneca vaccination.

I have an underlying health condition which means I could get my jab here in the UK. I'm feeling extremely fortunate and wish my parents could get theirs in Ireland.

I was a bit apprehensive about get the AstraZeneca jab, I heard about the blood clot issues and have previously suffered with these myself. I spoke to my rheumatologist and have been taking extra care and I'm fine. Just a few side effects. Think I will put all this in a blog post.

I also know that just because I have a jab, it doesn't mean I can't get #covid19 and that I could still transmit it. I will still be wearing my mask.

I passed The Shard about ten days ago and looked up. When I previously passed, that building next to it wasn't there.

London's skyline is changing all the time. There were a couple of small cafes and shops in that building's footprint and I remember loving seeing the skyline as I went up the outdoor escalator to the upper level of London Bridge station.

They're all gone. Now just another office block that some landlord is trying to fill.
