One way of telling you you’re getting old is realizing that Nirvana‘s Nevermind is twenty years old! Hard to believe. To celebrate this Nevermind will be reissued on September 23rd.
There will be a couple of different formats for a standard CD to a 4cd/1DVD Super deluxe edition, which will feature unreleased tracks, obsure b sides, radio sessions, different mixes, all that jazz. The Super Deluxe edition also features a full studio live B sides and will also feature the first pre-Nevermind demos and demos recorded by Butch Vig. You’re also going to hear his version of the album rather than the version that was commercially released.
As if that wasn’t enough, there will be BBC recordings and a 90 page book with photos from the Nevermind era. The Super Deluxe Set will be limited to a numbered run of 10000. Start saving now!
