I Guess You Heard The News? // The London Ear

I’m sure that you’ve all heard by now that RTE are making some changes and my home, RTE 2XM, is to be no more.

I haven’t been told how long the station will remain on air or how long The London Ear will broadcast on 2XM.

The London Ear will live on 🙂 and I will continue to help to give a platform to arts and music, even after 2XM has gone.

For now though, it’s all business as usual and #TheLondonEar will broadcast episode 266 this Saturday at 1pm with guests Eoin Glackin and our friends from Strange Fish Theatre Company chatting about Frank McGuinness’ The Matchbox.

I’ve been a part of the RTE family since 2011, firstly with Culture Cafe and since 2013, here in London with The London Ear, and I will be forever thankful for the platform it has given me to chat to so many amazing people in the music and arts fields and share so much amazing music with you all.

But, I’m still here for now, I will endeavour to fill every second I have on air to the best of my ability.

Things change but my passion for music, the arts and the Irish community here in London hasn’t and won’t.

Thanks for listening!
