It’s August 2005 and I’m on the way back from London with a band i was working with. In Luton airport I pick up a CD that was to become one of that year’s soundtracks for me. Hailing from Staines, like Ali G, Hard Fi’s Stars of CCTV featured some serious tunes, Hard To Beat, Living For the Weekend and Cash Machine. The follow up ‘Once Upon A Time In The West’ hit #1 on the first week of its release.
Fast forward to now and after a little break Hard-Fi are back. This is the first glimpse we’ve had of their new album ‘Killer Sounds’ which is pencilled for release later this year. This is a definite change of style for the band, love the rhythm and the production, winner in my book.
