Looking at cinema listings, it’s becoming increasingly popular for bands to show concerts live or movie concerts, The Prodigy, Foo Fighters and JLS in 3D (why???) spring to mind. Now we can add Faithless to the list.
It’s a kind of good thing/bad thing though. Good because I love Faithless, Bad because it’s their last gig and I’ve never actually got to see them live for some reason.
The final gig of the ‘Pass The Baton’ tour will be beamed into cinemas through the magic of technology so we can dance our asses off and pay tribute to one of the best dance acts of the last 15 years. The gig will take place on April 8th in Brixton Academy which is a great venue!
You can check here for where you can watch in Ireland. I was wondering if we’d be able to get up and dance.. one site said ‘sitting may lead to a restricted view’.. I defy anyone to sit while this is on..
