February 3rd is the date for the inaugural Digital Socket Awards, celebrating all that is good and amazing in the Irish music Scene and what stood out in 2010. I’m extremely chuffed and honoured to be one of the 26 judges.
The shortlists for all 14 categories were announced today and well as some details about the event itself. Music on the night will be provided by two brilliant acts, Groom and Meljoann, who themselves had a great 2010. MC for the night will be comedian Gareth Stack.
There will also be two very special guests, one will be announced soon, the other.. you’ll have to turn up on the night to find out..
A limited number of tickets are available with proceeds going to Aware..
