So last night was the night we had waited for, The Digital Socket Awards Live Event.
It was a great night and brilliant to meet up with so many people that we only know by usernames online.
There were performances by Groom, Meljoann and Ham Sandwich. I now want to get tshirts printed that say ‘Kells Rocks!’ Gareth Stack MCed the night and definitely made a name for himself.
I got to present the ‘Best Radio Show’ award to Donal Dineen, which was great and chatted to some pretty cool people about some upcoming projects. There were some DJ sets from Logikparty and Sweet Oblivion but I was wrecked and headed home, only to find out this morning that I missed probably the greatest HipHop dance off ever witnessed in Dublin. Sad Times.
