I decided to keep this separate from the other podcast this week. I saw Honnningbarna in Whelan’s on November 14 and was blown away by their energy despite the language barrier. They sing in their native Norwegian. I was thrilled to be able to speak to Edvard Valberg, singer and cello player with Honningbarna.
We chat about language barriers, the death of their drummer, Anders Askildsen Eikås, earlier this year and signing with EMI.
