This is an artist with a unique gift for storytelling, through her own personal experiences, and through new characters she has encountered or created.

In this highly anticipated second album, the listener is taken from Ireland to Dorset England, Paris to Berlin. Even to the stunning California coastline, where we become submerged into the dark and magical nights that unfold in the ‘City of Angels’, and then finally to the brutal ganglands of Mexico City.

Following her Meteor-nominated debut album “PRECIOUS SOUL” (Mojo Magazine ***), Bronagh has again penned all her own material, collaborating on some of the music writing with her cousin Caolan McLaughlin, and the wonderful band of musicians that accompanied and guided Bronagh as she also took the helm as Producer on this new album.

Bronagh would like to acknowledge the brilliant Conor Brady (Guitar), Graham Hopkins (Drums and percussion), Clare Kenny ( Bass), Justin Carroll (Hammond Organ and Wurlitzer), Shelly and Jordan Bukspan and Paul Byrne ( Backing Vocals), Michael Buckley and Ronan Dooney (Horns), and Optophonic Studios in Dublin, Ireland.

With this golden group of musicians and carefully chosen analogue recording equipment. Work commenced earlier this year and pays homage to the sound and essence of the great producers of the 60s and early 70s – the music that Bronagh adores. Phil Spector (The Wall Of Sound), Shadow Morton (The Shangrilas), Jerry Wexler (Aretha Frankin) and Lou Adler (Merry Clayton), Willie Mitchell (Al Green), Brian Ahern (Emmy Lou Harris). Inspired by these musical masters, Bronagh has managed to give the music a unique voice and style of its own.

Bronagh and her band will be performing 3 special shows in Ireland from 2nd to the 4th of November 2011 prior to the release of the album, in Spring 2012.
