Tune of the Week 3/12/2010: Train – Shake Up Christmas
It’s at this time of year where we all look at the ‘best of’s or ‘top ten’s’ of the year. Gig of the year (so far) was definitely Train. I thought they were amazing (you can read my review here) but I was also intrigued when I heard they were do to the song for the new Coca Cola Christmas Commercial. The original version features on the album ‘Save Me San Francisco – The Golden Gate Edition’
I really really like the way this song has been worked for the advert, and what I like about the original version is that its not too Christmasy. I also think the way that the advert has been incorporated into the music video is a bit of genius.
