It was a weird weird week. Today’s show was definitely a celebration of Irish music. I spoke to Garrett Wall from Track Dogs, had the first play of Bayonets’ new single ‘The Old Coast’ and unfortunately, we got to celebrate the life of the late Dolores O’Riordain. Met her once, we were on the same flight to LAX, got chatting waiting for our bags. Remind me to tell you that story sometime.

I can’t remember a time when I didn’t see Garrett Wall posters promoting his gigs in Dublin. He’s been a stalwart of the Irish music scene. Garrett has been living in Madrid for a number of years, it was great to chat about the Madrid music scene as well as Track Dogs’ upcoming trip to London for St Patrick’s Day.
