The opening notes of Speed are somewhat Britpop reminiscent. This is quickly cast to one side as Speed kicks into a classic Rock’n’Roll/Americana vibe.
Steve Fanning’s vocals along with the production and organ lines throughout the track will obviously be linked to a ‘The Doors’ influence, since when was that a bad thing?
It’s an upbeat uptempo track that screams for a Summer Road Trip and a night time gig to follow it. Listening to this makes me want to see these guys live.
