#Project365: Day 161-170

The Painted Hall, Greenwich

As photography projects go #Project365 is quite intense and I know I’ve fallen behind. A lot. But I still do want to continue.

Starting out, what I wanted to do was get into the habit of ensuring that I shared the photographs I took rather than just leaving them to a life on a hard drive.

I think the hardest thing, for me, is to ensure that I get out with my camera enough. I really don’t want to share photos that I’m not happy with. I also know that the only way to get better is to take more photos and make sure I always have my camera on me.

I also need make more of a conscious effort, if I see an angle or something I regularly pass, to actually take out my camera, not just click on my phone. I’m not sure if others can see the difference in photo quality but I can.

Here are the photos for Days 161 – 170.

Enjoy!

The amazing @wallisbirdofficial at @bushhallmusic last night. So much energy and love in the room. I really didn’t want the evening to end. Lovely to catch up with Wallis and Aidan, who is my oldest pal. It’s a bit shit when your friends live in different countries. Make the time together all the more special. 166/365 #nessymon365 #PROJECT365 #wallisbird #aidanfloatinghome #Irishmusic #irishmusiclondon #irishmusiclove #irishmusicldn #irishinlondon #irishabroad #londonconcert #londongig #london #mytinyatlaslondon #londonbylondoners #ig_london #londondisclosure #londoncollective #metropolis_london #itssolondon #londonist #nessymon #mysecretlondon #londonguru #londonforyou #thelondonlifeinc #thelondonear

On Saturday afternoon, Talulah and I took the afternoon off and headed to Greenwich. Nothing new there but we hadn’t been to The Painted Hall before. It is absolutely stunning. I have no words for it. While the buildings of the Royal Naval College were designed by Christopher Wren, the baroque ceiling and wall decorations were designed and painted by James Thornhill and his team. I just happened to be in the Upper Hall, turned around and saw a Grandad showing his grandchild around. Cute. 168/365 #nessymon365 #Project365 #greenwich #thepaintedhall #jamesthornhill #art #fresco #christopherwren #greenwichpalace #baroque #london #mytinyatlaslondon #exploringlondon #londonbylondoners #ig_london #londondisclosure #londoncollective #metropolis_london #london_city_photo #mysecretlondon #londonguru #londonforyou #londonstreets #londonsbest #london_enthusiast #thelondonear
