Online Culture Meet & Greet

Online culture Meet & Greet

Thanks to being mental busy this week, I’m only getting a chance to write about this now.

On Wednesday July 21st I attended an Online Meet & Greet, organised by Temple Bar Cultural Trust. The Summer Sensation that they organised was blogged, tweeted, written about in all forms and involved a competition. As giving Dave from DublinCulture.ie a prize for his efforts, it was great to hear from new people and businesses in the Temple Bar area and how they are incorporating and learning to incorporate social media into their daily work. There were people from new galleries and bookshops in the area there. It’s really a great way to get the word out about events, people blog and tweet and others talk about it!

Really enjoyed it, it was great meeting up with Aidan and Deirdre from Goldenplec and Nicole Rourke from The Big Smoke Writing Factory who I know from Brownies and the beloved Eureka Secondary School in Kells. Haven’t seen Nicole in years! Also great to finally meet Steph, who I had known through twitter.

Very Special thanks to Julie from Temple Bar and Darragh Doyle for organising the whole evening, looking forward to the next one!
