Got this in my inbox this morning from Mike Got Spiked, best of luck to Jonathan.
I’m sure this is just the start of a new chapter for the rest of the guys.
Hopefully plans to release their second album won’t be affected, looking forward to hearing it.

It’s with heavy hearts and a lifetime of brilliant memories that mike got spiked today announce the departure of bassist and founding member, Jonathan Myles, from the band.
Over the course of eight amazing years, Jonathan has shared in a wild journey that started with a group of friends playing to the rest of their mates in filthy pubs in rural Ireland, and has now taken mike got spiked to a full-time life on the road in the USA.
From strutting his stuff with us on the Vans Warped Tour to being the life and soul of the party in pretty much anywhere in America that you care to mention, Jonathan will always remain a valuable asset to the history of this band.
While Jonathan has decided to leave mike got spiked to pursue other interests, the remaining members, Dave, Conall and Gavin would like to express our gratitude to him for his artistry and dedication.
Although we are saddened to see him go, we wish Jonathan the very best of luck with his future endeavours, musical or otherwise, and thank
him for his continued input to our forthcoming second album.
The search for Jonathan’s replacement is currently underway. Anyone interested in auditioning for the position should email email@example.com for further details.
