As a George Michael Uberfan, it filled me with delight and glee to see that his first solo album, 1987’s Faith was getting a re-master and re-release.
What was even more mouth watering was that for the first time, I would be able to get all the B sides and remixes on CD. I have them all on 7inch vinyl already. I have Faith on CD, vinyl and cassette.

YUM! What I was really excited about was the inclusion of a DVD of the Jonathan Ross programme which was aired around the ‘I Want Your Sex’ launch. There are three different parts to IWYS and I’ve always wanted to mix them a la Fastlove and I’m Your Man. There’s a Freemason’s club mix of I Want Your Sex for immediate download when you buy from Sony.
The bad news is that to complete my collection will cost me 125 plus postage from Sony or 107 plus costs from Amazon.
A tad steep, not much in the difference in getting the re-issued box set and getting what I’ve been talking about for a long time. A tattoo of the Faith symbols on the inside of my arm.
Anyone fancy sending me a boxset?
Ah well, it was worth a shot!
