On this week’s show, I was joined by Cecily Maher from London Irish LGBT Network and to Kieran McGuinness from Delorentos.

London Irish LGBT Network

London Irish LGBT Network - nessymon
I was delighted to catch up with Cecily Maher from London Irish LGBT Network. They are a relatively new not for profit group who work to give a voice to the Irish LGBT community in London.

The London Irish LGBT Network are hosting their Christmas Jumper Party on December 16th at 8pm in the Phoenix Artist Club , 1 Phoenix St WC2H 8BU. It’s a free event so why not head along? Find out more on their website.

You can find out more on Twitter, Facebook and on their website.

Kieran from Delorentos

Delorentos - nessymon
I was lucky to get Kieran from Delorentos on the phone at all! I caught up with Kieran as the band were on tour in Berlin during the week. Unfortunately, we had serious problems trying to get decent phone reception. We managed to chat for a few minutes and when Delorentos are back in the UK in 2017, we’ll sit down and have a proper conversation.

The band play the Sebright Arms in London on Tuesday 13th December. You can follow them on Twitter, Facebook and their website.

Ham Sandwich: Croke Park March 11th (video)

whitefoxSomewhere between a hurling game and a football game today in Croke Park, Kells heroes, Ham Sandwich, played a few tunes accompanied by non other than funnyman, Fred Cooke. If that wasn’t enough the boxer, Bernard Dunne tried to get Podge to do a duet as gaeilge. Gawd bless his cotton socks.

Sorry the video wasn’t closer, it was filmed from the Davin stand, or as I still prefer calling it, The Canal End.
