Riverdance is back in Ireland

riverdanceThe phenomenon that grew from a Eurovision interlude is back for its eighth season in the Gaiety. Riverdance will run from Jun 28th until August 28th in the Dublin theatre before heading sound to INEC in Killarney for shows from August 30th to September 4th.

Riverdance, Composed by Bill Whelan, Produced by Moya Doherty and Directed by John McColgan is now in its 16th year and has been seen live by over 22 million people world-wide, which is amazing.

As I yet again fail my Irish citizenship test, I haven’t seen the show live but in my old job about 11 years ago, I had to duplicate the video tapes for the extravaganza. My favourite was the version of Riverdance from Radio City.
