It’s with a sad and heavy heart that I learned tonight from the NME website of the death of Charlie Haddon, lead singer with Ou Est Le Swimming Pool.
The band had played at Pukkelpop festival in Belgium before reports of Charlie’s death.
One of my favourite new acts from the past year, I saw them support La Roux in the Academy last November and played Dance the way I feel lots on DCUfm.
Poor Charlie, my sympathies go out to the other members of the band and to Charlie’s family. Another life gone too soon.
