Model Society are a London based four piece electro indie band. Follow Your Dreams is their debut release.
Recorded and Produced by Michael Boddy (The Fall, Alphabeat) the band draw on images from everyday life in their lyrics, making them gritty and relevant. The tracks’ upbeat rhythm plays against the lyrics starting with ‘A Generations Disappointments….‘. These along with the vocal prowess of Danny Clare make ‘Model Society’ an interesting band to watch.
Influences from past bands including The Stranglers can be heard in their music and throwbacks to music of the eighties recession seem to make this more relevant than ever, the chorus offering the advice to ‘Follow Your Dreams’. Decent interesting debut release with good musicianship and arrangement.
