Wow, just wow! Apple have finally announced Final Cut Pro X. It’s a complete rebuild of Final Cut Pro 7 which was released in 2009. The dark background is very reminiscent of the Adobe programmes. Where it gets really interesting is that Final Cut X is available for download for $299 from the Mac App Store.
It will be interesting to see what will happen here. This could change a lot, especially for small independent film makers, a lot of whom said Final Cut Pro was out of their price range, especially when you get Premier Pro in Some of the Adobe packages.
