Annie comes to The Gaiety Theatre

annieThere won’t be a Hi de Hi to be heard in The Gaiety when Su Pollard heads up the cast of Annie for a two week stint.

Annie tells the story of a … (As I’m writing this my OH is telling me the entire story of Annie scene by scene.. pity I don’t have a video camera handy), Annie is stuck in an orphanage run by Miss Hannigan. The ever so loaded Mr Warbucks, may or may not come to her rescue.

Su Pollard (Hi De Hi) stars as Miss Hannigan and David McAlister (Eastenders/Hollyoaks) is Mr Warbucks in this Playhouse Production straight from the West End. You’ll hear ‘Tomorrow’ ‘Easy Street and of course the brilliant hard knock life’, the song that even made it into Austin Powers. (Everytime I hear it I always think.. ‘This is for all my homies in Bruges‘)

This production is Directed by Roger Hannah; Musical Supervision by Mark Crossland; Designed by Alan Miller Bunford.

Annie runs from Sep 13 to 24 at the Gaiety Theatre. Evening performances commence at 7.30pm with matinee performances on Friday and Saturdays at 2.30pm. Tickets from €25 available from The Gaiety Box Office and ticketmaster.ie
